Teaching hope, creating awareness and learning compassion
We collaborate with schools, teachers, students and parents every day to bring the Team Hope dream to life. From pre-school all the way to third level, there are opportunities across a number of our programmes to create real change for vulnerable children around the world.
Through our programmes in primary and secondary schools, the Christmas Shoebox Appeal and Confirming Hope, children and young adults can gain a true understanding in how they can play an active role in empowering others.
Christmas Shoebox Appeal
We are best known for our Christmas Shoebox Appeal which starts in September of every year. Families across Ireland fill their shoeboxes with thoughtful gifts which get very carefully checked before making their journey into the hands of very happy children.
It is the true gift of hope.

For children doing their confirmation, Confirming Hope is a fun, interactive programme to introduce students to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals and learn the true meaning of giving. Through the programme children making their confirmation have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference from their classroom.
