The children were overwhelmed with their shoeboxes. They will use every single thing inside. The school age children were especially grateful to get school supplies and the eldest daughter was very happy with the puzzles.
Bhek’musa 12 years old. His head teacher in Eswatini says he is one of the smartest students in the school! Bhek’musa loved the pencils, pens, eraser, and rubbers, as they will help him in school.
Last year our partners visited Layla's are with Christmas Shoeboxes and were able to give one to each of Laya's children! They got to know Laya a little bit and when they saw her struggles they knew they could help!
Visiting almost 300 families with over 1,300 children our partners were able to provide hand washing equipment and to provide education to families on COVID-19 and the importance of social distancing, face-masks and hand washing.
