Becky Ashmore Memorial 2022
Becky Ashmore Memorial 2022
Becky is still missed by her loving husband Kent, her three children Harriet, Arthur and Wallis as well as many other family, colleagues and friends in the Enniscorthy Co. Wexford area. Two years on from her passing, the family wish to commemorate Beckys life, by supporting Team Hope and helping vulnerable children overseas. Donations received in her memory are to be divided equally between Team Hope’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal and a Clean Water sustainable development project in Kenya that the family have chosen.
These funds mean that shoebox gifts will to be given into the hands of vulnerable children in Kenya or other African countries like Rwanda or Malawi. These funds also mean that children in a rural community in Kenya will have access to clean water, sanitation and adopt life-living hygiene practices, ensuring their health and well being.
Becky’s love and aspirations for her own three beautiful children inspired her to set up her own business, resulting in the creation of Little Treasures Crèche in Enniscorthy. Which now over ten years on nurtures and cares for all that attend. Allowing all children to flourish in their first years of Early Years Development.
Becky was involved with Team Hope’s annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal and the local volunteer team in Enniscorthy. As part of Team Hopes 2021 Christmas Shoebox Appeal 13,771 donated shoebox gifts were distributed to vulnerable children in Burundi in Africa, including 6,539 shoeboxes donated through the Enniscorthy Centre.
Becky was an inspiration to so many during her life. She inspired others like her family, her colleagues and friends. She inspired countless others through her Crèche and her support for Team Hope too.
This fundraiser is in Beckys memory to further her legacy by supporting the work of Team Hope.
